What we witnessed, January 6, 2021, at the US Capitol Building was a violent attempt to overtake and seize control of the United States Government. It was the literal definition of a Coup attempt. The angry mob stated that they “Wanted their country back.” They said they were going to fight to “Take back their government by showing their strength.” They said, “They, the patriots, were the last line of defense.”
Let’s look at several definitions:
Coup – “The removal of an existing government from power, usually through violent means. Typically, it is an illegal, unconstitutional seizure of power by a political faction, the military, or a dictator.” Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coup_d%27%C3%A9tat
Protest – A public expression of objection, disapproval or dissent towards an idea or action, typically a political one. Where protests are part of a systematic and peaceful nonviolent campaign to achieve a particular objective, and involve the use of pressure as well as persuasion, they go beyond mere protest and may be better described as cases of civil resistance or nonviolent resistance. Boycott & Civil disobedience – A separation, primarily financial, from the system that is being rebelled against. This entails refusing to participate in the monetary system, limiting consumption, or ignoring notions of property rights. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_disobedience
Riot – A form of civil disorder involving violent public disturbance. Riots typically involve destruction of property, public or private. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riot
Who initiated this gathering and how was this all organized?
The “March to Save America” rally was openly organized by “Women for America First“ and “Stop the Steal,” but behind the scenes, White House staff and close allies of the president allegedly worked with several organizers to plan and promote the events leading to the eventual coup attempt.
America First Policies, a pro-Trump policy advocacy dark money group, disclose that in 2019 that they contributed $25,000 to Women for America First.

Charlie Kirk, who recently stated, “I was getting 500 emails a minute calling for a civil war,” spent weeks before January the 6th making claims of widespread voter fraud. Kirk is associated with the event and has admitted being responsible for bussing in a large amount of the crowd who attended President Trump’s event. Charlie Kirk is the founder of Turning Point USA, a conservative think tank organization with a long history of its members expressing their anti-Black views. For example, former TPUSA National director Crystal Clanton resigned after she was exposed for sending a text message to another Turning Point employee saying, “I hate black people. Like fuck them all . . . I hate blacks. End of story.”
During the planned rally, President Donald Trump encouraged his supporters to march to the steps of Congress to protest the results of the Electoral College vote that certified Joe Biden as the winner of the 2020 election. This is how this all was initiated.
During a speech in front of the White House, to a group of supporters, President Trump led an angry mob to the capital with the following words:
“We’re going to walk down to the Capitol (Trump persuaded them but did not walk down to the capital with them, as he stated he would)and we’re going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women and we’re probably not going to be cheering so much for some of them.”
After Trump spoke, his supporters marched to the steps of Congress and broke into the U.S. Capitol building.
