The Atlanta Hawks open the 2020-2021 season against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday, Dec. 23. From there, Atlanta will host the Detroit Pistons on Monday, Dec. 28, in the home opener. The schedule features 17 home games and 20 road games, with seven back-to-back sets. The schedule will also include the traditional MLK home game, taking on the Minnesota Timberwolves at 2:30 pm ET on Monday, Jan. 18 at State Farm Arena. The final game of the first half of the season will be a road contest against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday, Mar. 3.
The second half of the NBA schedule covering Mar. 11 through May 16 will be released towards the end of the first half of the schedule, and that release will include the remainder of each team’s games, as well as any postponed contests during the first half of the season.
